Mediterranean gardens and swimming pool

Once you’ve driven past the stone pillars of the monumental gate and left the boundaries of the pine trees, you enter a Mediterranean garden planted with more than 3 centuries old olive trees, palm trees, orange trees, cycads and bougainvilleas.
 
The restanques – Provence's dry stone walls – pace the uprising to the mansion and its 12 m long swimming pool fitted with stone coping and roman stairs.
 
A small orchard provides you with Provence herbs that you might use for cooking delicious meals, taken under the shade of the terrace, with commanding view on neighbouring hills.
 
The Bastide de Lérins has been named in memory of the monks from the abbey of the Lérins islands, owners of the land in the XVII^th century and who planted the olive trees that are still growing on the property.
